For example, pressing the right arrow advances 7 months in Timeline - by Month, shifting all the months by 7.

The arrows inside the timeline itself, however, allow you to move forward or go back just by a single period.

For example, pressing the right arrow advances one month in Timeline - by Month, shifting all the months by one.

To make a targeted navigation, you can use the built-in date picker, which allows you to instantly go to a specific date, month, or year.

Tip

Clicking on an acitivity or a document will take you to their respective forms.

Business week labels

The Timeline utilizes the ERP.net Business Week (BW) standard for numbering weeks in a calendar year.

In the Timeline - by Week mode, the label is found at the right end of each week window.

Party filter

In addition to activities, the Timeline also shows documents created for the currently logged-in Enterprise company.

These documents are further grouped by the customer (Party) they are associated with.

pictures

The Party button allows you to narrow down the timeline to show just the documents associated with one particular customer.

When one party is selected, the Timeline restricts the displayed documents and activities only to those records related to it.

pictures

The filter can be reset to the default "all parties" view by selecting Clear from the Party dropdown.

If no documents with customers are identified for a specific period, it will be greyed out and not usable.
