Code R37504
Entity Crm.Presales.Deals Entity
Name AssignSalesPerson
Attribute LeadingSalesPerson
Layer Front-End
Events AttributeChanged(EnterpriseCompany, Party, FromCompanyDivision)
Priority Normal
Modify YES
Action If the current user is associated with an active Sales Person for the Deal’s Enterprise Company
, then the rule sets that Sales Person in the Leading Sales Person field.

If the above condition is not met and the Party (when the Party field it is not empty) is a Customer of the Deal's Enterprise Company
, then the rule sets the Customer’s SalesPerson in the Leading Sales Person field.

If there is no Sales Person defined for the Party’s Customer and if among the Sales Person Assignment Rules there is a rule which meets the following conditions:
- Is Active is true
- From Date is empty or <= Deal’s Document Date
- To Date is empty or >= Deal’s Document Date
- Enterprise Company is equal to Deal’s Enterprise Company
- Company Division is empty or equal to Deal’s From Company Division
- Customer Type is empty or equal to Customer’s Customer Type
- Sales Area is empty or equal to Customer’s Area
, then the rule sets the Sales Person of the selected Sales Person Assignment Rule in the Leading Sales Person field.
*If more than one rule meets the conditions -> the one with the highest priority is selected.
*If there is more than one rule within the same highest priority –> the one with the highest Rule № is selected.

If none of the above conditions are met – the Leading Sales Person field remains empty.
Description The rule facilitates the assignment of a sales person responsible for the deal/opportunity by following a specific algorithm.

The assignment algorithm gives priority to the sales person associated with the current user, followed by the sales person of the identified Customer, and finally – the sales person determined by a Sales Person Assignment Rule.
